Hickman Bridge, Capitol Reef national Park, Utah

Hickman Bridge is a natural bridge, rather than arch, just off Highway 24 in Capitol Reef National Park near Fruita. The bridge is accesible by a 1 mile hike starting at a parking lot next to the Fremont River east of the visitor center. The hike first climbs onto the river bench then follows along the top of a wash to the bridge itself passing a number of interesting sites along the way including a Fremont People Moki Hut (granary) on one of the walls.
